Job Description
- The British Council teaching centers in Egypt are looking to recruit a senior teacher trainer for its large, nationwide team to provide teacher development and management support in its Alexandria center.
Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree
- DELTA or equivalent TEFL Q qualification
- English at Proficiency Level C2: Native speaker or IELTS band 8/9 in each of 4 sections of the academic module.
- Graduate plus higher-level teaching diploma DELTA/ Trinity Diploma in TESOL (or equivalent) or relevant NQF level 7 in appropriate area)
- 4 years teaching experience (adults & YLs), post certificate level teaching qualification
- Teacher Training experience
- Experience of line managing/ coordinating teaching teams
- Proven ability to contribute to design and development of teacher training programmes/activities.
Desirable Requirements:
- Master’s degree in relevant area
- TYLEC
- CELTA trainer status
- Experience as DELTA tutor
