Job Description
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants.
- Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
- Direct all accounting departments work, including:
- (ledgers, Assets, Credit, Collections, Accounts payroll, Treasury, Taxes)
- Create accounting strategies , Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits
- Recruit, manage, and oversee all accounting departments; work with other accounting managers
- Prepare, manage and present monthly reports
- Represent accounting department at board meetings
- Regularly examine financial statements and ensure they are accurate and free of any errors
- Act as a liaison to outside auditors
- Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations
- Keep company accounts information confidential
- Stay abreast on industry changes and current tax/accounting laws
