Job Description
- Implements office policies - measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- On going selection, review and negotiation of pricing agreements with key vendors (ocean lines, airlines, trucking companies, messenger services) for all departments.
- Handling and review of key quotes to customers and overseas partners.
Serves customers and manages customer service representatives. Resolves service problems.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years operational management experience in Freight Forwarding.
- At least 3 years operational experience in import and/or export freight forwarding.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively.
