Job Description

We are looking for a competent Help desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on ERP Computer systems.

  • You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
  • You also will offer support and technical assistance to customers who are using our software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.
  • You will make a site technical visits on regular basis.
  • providing technical support and ensuring the whole establishment runs smoothly. You will monitors and maintain the computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.
  • Because of the nature of the job, some establishments may require their IT Support to undertake shift work.
  • This is a full-time position with benefits, and we will be located between Remaya Square [ El Haram branch] and [ Shiekh Zayed ] branch, Please note that we are considering local candidates only at this time.

Product Overview

  • Our software addresses various challenges with inbound documents to an Educational provider, Tourism and travel innovations, report distribution, procedure ordering and scheduling, workflows, and efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities [ but may not to be limited ]

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests via chat, email, or phone
  • Providing technical support across the Establishment (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Possibly training more junior staff members
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements in procedures

Job Requirements

Requirements and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems
  • Experience with Network Repairs and Analysis, Good Customer Service Skills,
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience
  • A technical, logical thought process
  • Problem-solving skills
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • An ability to prioritize and delegate
  • A keen eye for detail
