Financial Manager

• Manage the finance processes and delivery of the management accounts, analyze annual financial statements and the development of financial reporting systems. In addition to providing advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plan to enable the company’s top management to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with project managers and other departmental managers and staff in relation to company strategies and the preparation of monthly management reports.
• Deliver the annual budget and forecasts as required.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework to be met.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Advise on investment activities and provide financial strategies that the company should take.
• Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the Finance function through good staff management and strong governance processes.
• Review the adequacy of financial controls and processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of annual financial statements and tax computations in compliance to company policies.
• Control the month end close process and review reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Liaise with accounting & taxes adviser to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
