Role Purpose

I contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in my primary market area (PMA) in order to maximize sales and long-term profitability. Based on my knowledge of people’s life at home and home furnishing competence I present and communicate the IKEA offer to make it attractive and relevant to my local market. I work to visualize the uniqueness of the IKEA product range within room settings, homes, vignettes, sales support areas and co-worker areas so as to distance us from the competition. I contribute to maximizing the impact of these media in order to convert visitors into satisfied customers and stimulate repeat visits, creating vitality in all areas of the store throughout the year. I actively work to develop and implement:

• store layout as a commercial tool
• range presentation
• store communication.

I work with my manager and the Communication & Interior Design (Com&In) team to ensure high quality, simplicity and cost-consciousness by using global tools and best practices.
