Job Description
- Designs, illustrates and prepares printing layouts for various brochures, books, newsletters, instructional aides, information pamphlets, annual reports, and other departmental publications and printed material.
- Designs, illustrates and prepares advertising layouts, billboards, posters, exhibits, flyers, letterheads, logos, certificates, forms and other promotional materials.
- Creates electronically designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts; may develop web based graphics.
- Use computer software to generate new images.
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Coordinates with marketing and other departments requesting graphic design or layout work; develops ideas, suggests new or modifies existing ideas; demonstrates graphic techniques and advises other departmental personnel on techniques and methods to use.
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
- Developing interactive design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts , Graphics and Design , Fine Arts or any related related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in graphic design.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, FreeHand, Microsoft Office and other relevant programs.
- Web site design knowledge is an advantage.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under stress.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
