Job description:

Shema seed company is searching for an experienced full time digital graphic designer and smart, passionate who lives and breathes creativity to join our growing team. The right candidate will be self-motivated, very detail-oriented, and capable of handling heavy project loads. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign with a solid understanding of HTML.

We are looking for candidates who can maintain a positive mindset and flexibility when faced with challenges or critique. This position requires a unique combination of creativity and analytical thinking, with a passion to learn new things.

Designers must be creative under pressure, and have the ability to move quickly and comfortably between various types of projects, while meeting strict deadlines. They must also proof all work to ensure designs are error-free and that files are built to spec

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with growth and marketing team to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
  • Perform graphic design duties requiring conception, planning, scheduling, and implementation of design solutions.
  • Review all editorial and image content, ensure proper layout and execution for digital needs across many social and paid advertising platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain graphic continuity of visual communication elements with regard to CB2 graphic design standards and branding while delivering a clear message.
  • Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning. Manage to any individual specs across channels including social media.
  • Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective designs.
  • Stay up to date on social and digital updates and innovations. Adapt and innovate as necessary
  • Create high-quality digital deliverables, demonstrating the ability to balance design aesthetics with technical platform capabilities, limitations and other constraints.
  • Optimize for performance using direct response and digital user-experience best practices to iterate, innovate and test different creative concepts
  • Support the company’s marketing goals and efforts
  • Lead the creative development and implementation of multimedia projects across multiple platforms for both social and paid advertising initiative

  • Proficient with PowerPoint.
  • Supporting knowledge of After Effects, Final cut pro, InDesign

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in design, strong background in digital and UX design.
  • An undergraduate degree in Graphic Design preferred or related experience
  • Experience designing websites and digital advertising
  • Experience designing for digital marketing campaigns including Facebook and familiar with email marketing best practices.
  • Excellent skills in image retouching and typography
  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability, communication skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
  • Demonstrated interest and ability to stay current on industry trends in design and marketing analytics.
  • Impressive brand development skills
  • Ability to take a project from concept to completion
  • A burning interest in new platforms and technologies for digital and related mediums
  • Keen eye for typography, visual composition and color
  • Understanding of digital production specifications and requirements for asset delivery
  • Working knowledge of interactive design (GIFs)
