About the Job

Job Description:

  • Full time Primary and/or Preparatory Mathematics Teacher.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a demonstrated record of previous achievement.
  • Mathematics teaching experience at any level, but must have comfort with and demonstrated ability to work with content across Primary Stages (from 1-6) and/or Preparatory Stages (from 7-9) spectrum.
  • Extensive knowledge of current national mathematics content standards and standards for mathematical practices.
  • Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students and a classroom forum for holistic growth.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain genuine, positive and consistent communication with parents.
  • Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
  • Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection and continuous improvement.
  • In addition to subject matter tutoring and teaching, this position includes significant student mentoring.
Job Requirements
  • Fluent English Language is a must.
  • Language School Graduate.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • 2+ years experience in teaching math, including experience with professional development of teachers.
  • Mathematics teaching experience at any level, but must have comfort with and demonstrated ability to work with content across the Primary Stages (from 1-6) and/or Preparatory Stages (from 7-12) spectrum.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration, as well as a higher level of Science teaching background.
  • Solid subject matter knowledge in Science at Primary stages 1-5 and/or Preparatory stages 6-12.
  • Teaching credentials are a plus but are not mandatory.
  • Experience with students with learning differences as well as mentoring experience.
  • The ideal candidate is outgoing, well organized, competent in basic computer skills, and is an individual who is eager to work in a highly dynamic, energetic school setting.
  • Candidate must be prepared to teach and tutor material at school level immediately.
