Job Description
Job Purpose / Summary :
- Oversees the work of personnel including allocation, training & problem resolution, motivates employees to achieve peak productivity & performance, assists in pre-sales activities, enhances operation structure, reviews & interprets financial & operating information, monitors utilization, assists in replying to RFPs. This position requires IT background, and 10+ years of experience.
Main Responsibilities :
Financial Management:
- Provide input to the UPS budgeting process as required.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources and exercise cost control measures wherever applicable.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish various communication channels with the Clients to understand both short & long term requirements
- Ensure long term relationship with clients based on customer satisfaction
Business Development Management:
- Identify areas/technology which represent an opportunity & work with R&D for developing necessary skills to grow the business.
- Analyze requirements, develop proposals for existing and potential clients
Team Management:
- Monitor team dynamics and team accountability related to delivery commitments.
- Actively participate in monitoring and reporting on individual performance of Project Managers
Resource Management:
- Provide forecasts for resource requirements
- Allocate resources adequately to ensure maximum billable utilization.
- Communicate with peers in order to fully utilize resource capacity in the best possible way.
Delivery Management:
- Assume responsibility for the different aspects of the account(s).
- Ensure that deliverable and services meet non-project requirements.
- Oversees program delivery ensuring that appropriate processes and standards are followed.
- Appoint Project Managers to projects.
- Oversee allocated Project Manager, including planning, project reviews and developing of formal project corrective actions required to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Provide the point of escalation for project issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Manager in the project team.
- Coordinate and obtain agreement with the Project Manager/Team prior to commitments being made on estimates, deliverable, dates, and scope changes.
- Analyze account(s) performance and develop and execute corrective action plans
- Track metrics for supported clients to plan and implement continuous improvement.
Process Improvement Management
- Contributing to enhancement and refinement of existing UPS processes in the different domains,
- Creatively suggesting and implementing new processes, or updating existing ones to better suit UPS needs.
