Job Description
- Conducts and improves forecasting activities and methods in order to maintain effective inventory levels.
- Analyses pertinent data such as usage history, lead times, inventory, aircraft platform
- Prepares and report forecast and inventory measurement
- Provides Lead Time (LT) analysis and recommends forecasted material ordering based on Operations & Maintenance plans in order to ensure timely availability of material requirements
- Coordinates with Operations in order to ensure effective Material Requirement Planning Timely communicate information to all stakeholders using the appropriate communication method
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence the demand for the supply chain and prioritize demand for order fulfillment based on business objectives and customer segmentation
- Participate as the demand owner/representative in an organization’s sales and operations planning process, to enable demand-supply balancing analysis
- Confer with management on demand planning and forecasting assumptions, analysis, and decisions
- Prepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecasting function.
- Manage forecast models, analyze trends, manage forecast tools, and maintain accurate data.
- Create and Maintain production schedules with high consideration of Maintenance plan (preventive and corrective )
- Issuing Purchase Orders to suppliers, according to the requisitions received.
- Maintaining procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery time, product quality, supplier performance, and inventories.
- Follow up with suppliers to deliver goods in time.
- Communicate with suppliers to get required documents for clearance and shipping conditions.
- Follow up the clearance agent to release the goods.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service
- Assist the manager in determining appropriate equipment and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
- Work to develop and recommend new transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
Job Requirements
- Hold Supply Chain Certificate (CSCP is preferred)
- Strong Planning Knowledge( Practically - Theoretically)
- At Least 8 years of experience in the field and not less than 2 years in the same position
