Job Description
- Ensure proper implementation of policies/procedures with the local Inventory managers by providing the needed support to control losses, decrease the shrinkage percentage and validate inventory transaction processes
- Assist in recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating his/her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that state are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the company
- Specific for Regional: Implement and perform training on all systems/applications used in the Inventory Control Department
Specific for Regional: Perform quality control on group data and validate inventory transactions processes to ensure alignment with the local Inventory Control Department - Specific for Regional: Ensure proper testing of all business processes for new openings, prior to the opening date
- Specific for Regional: Collaborate with concerned parties at the group level to manage and design several business modules related to new brands/ countries
- Specific for Local: Oversee margins on purchase orders and imported data while managing inventory
transactions related to sales, receiving, transfers between stores, change of season/prices, devolution and other
Specific for Local: Communicate with local suppliers on alleged credit notes such as; Return To Vendor (RTV), damages, Change Of Price (COP), seasonal credit notes and other - Specific for Local: Validate new business processes on the local live environment
- Specific for Local: Calculate/analyze costs of sold items (COGS), prepare physical takes’ schedule and audit the count in the stores
Job Requirements
- Specific for Regional: French is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Accounting/Finance Degree and/or MBA is a plus
- 4-5 years of experience in Inventory or related eld; Retail is a plus
- Fluency in English; Specic for Regional
- Proficiency in MS Office and stock accounting program
