For a Reputable Accounting and consulting firm located in Al-Rehab City, we are seeking highly skilled Accountant or senior Accountant with the following requirements: 
 

Responsibilities
• Maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Performing accounts reconciliation.
• Accounts receivable & payable.
• The senior accountant will also maintain financial policies & internal controls, as well as investigate & resolve any accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
• Record Day to day financial transactions & complete the posting process.
• Verify that the transactions are recorded in the correct supplier’s ledger, customer ledger & general ledger.
• Perform partial checks of the posting process.
• Enter data, maintain records, create reports & financial statements.
• Process accounts Receivable/Payable.
• Record the customer’s/suppliers’ invoices and match them with the bank statements.
• Record payments, receipts, and journal entries in the accounting software.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain schedules for receivables, payables, prepayments, accruals,
• Prepare and maintain fixed assets register.
• Monthly payroll register.
• Prepare the monthly/quarterly trial balance.
• Vat report (VAT return preparation and filing)
 

Qualifications
• Bachelor of commerce accounting department (Preferably, English Section).
• Over three years of relevant experience.
• Very good command of English language (Speaking and Writing).
• Strong Knowledge of Accounting principles & Practices.
• Additional Certifications such as IFRS or CMA will be considered as plus.
• Experience in Using Microsoft Office & Remote meeting tools (Zoom – Google meets – Microsoft Teams).
• Customer service orientation & negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to calculate, post & manage accounting figures & financial records.
