Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves supervising junior accountants, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and has strong leadership and communication skills.

Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor, analyze, and report financial performance and variances against budget.
Provide management with insights to support financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Manage and ensure compliance with local tax laws, audits, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accountants and accounting staff.
Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and automation within the finance department.
