Job Description:
We’re looking for a passionate Backend Development Intern who’s eager to gain hands-on experience building scalable backend systems using Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, Docker and MongoDB. This is a great opportunity to work on real projects, learn from experienced developers, and explore modern backend architecture, including microservices and GraphQL APIs.
The intern will learn:
- How to build and structure real-world backend applications
- Practical use of NestJS, GraphQL, and MongoDB
- How to design and work within a microservices architecture
- Best practices in code versioning, collaboration, and CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to AWS services and serverless technologies
- Problem-solving and debugging in a production-like environment
- Agile development and team communication in a real tech team
Duration: 3–6 months
Internship Requirements
Requirements:
- Some hands-on experience or coursework in backend development with Node.js
- Familiarity with NestJS (or eagerness to learn)
- Familiarity with Docker (or eagerness to learn)
- Basic understanding of GraphQL and API principles
- Exposure to MongoDB
- Interest in learning about microservices architecture
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
- A strong desire to learn, ask questions, and grow
- Good communication and collaboration skills
✨ Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AWS services such as AppSync, Amplify, Lambda, Cognito
- Experience building or working with serverless APIs.
