Internship Description
Job Description: Summer Internship as Assistant Fashion Designer
About Us:
We are a growing fashion brand dedicated to designing elegant, modern, and functional formal workwear for women. Our mission is to empower women through refined tailoring, premium fabrics, and timeless style that seamlessly blends professionalism with individuality.
The intern will learn:
• Hands-on experience with a live fashion collection from concept to development
• Direct mentorship from experienced designers
• A Certificate of Completion and internship experience letter at the end of the internship (September)
• A collaborative and inspiring environment where your ideas are welcomed and valued
Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed technical sketches and flat drawings
• Create and maintain accurate technical packages for sample development and production
• Assist in building and organizing a winter fabric library, including fabric research and documentation
• Support trend research and assist with concept boards for seasonal direction
• Participate in fittings and design reviews; update tech packs based on feedback
• Collaborate with the design team to solve problems and streamline development processes
Internship Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and creative Assistant Fashion Designer Intern to join our team for the upcoming season. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience and actively contribute to the design and development of our upcoming Winter collection.
Requirements:
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Must be fluent in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent attention to detail, especially in technical documentation
• Willingness to learn, proactive, and receptive to constructive feedback
• Creative, flexible, and solutions-oriented with a passion for design
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Fashion Design or a related field
