About Ottawave
Ottawave is a growing startup building advanced modeling and analysis tools for signal integrity and RF/microwave systems. We focus on high-speed digital and wireline communication technologies—supporting development for PCIe, DDR, SerDes, Ethernet, and next-generation interconnects powering modern datacenters and AI infrastructure. Our mission is to bridge simulation, automation, and signal processing to solve real-world challenges in next-gen EDA workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scripts in Python and MATLAB/Octave
- Analyze and simulate S-parameters and RF/microwave component behavior
- Apply Fourier transforms and other signal processing techniques to engineering data
- Model high-speed links and channels for Ethernet and other wireline interfaces used in datacenters and AI platforms
- Build and support front-end and back-end components for internal tools
- (Optional) Contribute to simulation modules written in C++
Internship Requirements
- Solid proficiency in MATLAB or Octave
- Good experience with Python
- Familiarity with front-end/back-end development (e.g., Flask, HTML/CSS/JS, REST APIs)
- Understanding of RF and microwave engineering principles, especially S-parameters
- Knowledge of signal processing concepts (e.g., Fourier transforms)
- (Nice to have) Exposure to Signal Integrity and high-speed digital links (e.g., Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes)
- (Bonus) Some experience with C++
