Geek Labs is a quickly growing holding company looking for fresh Computer Science graduates to join our Backend Developer internship. Please note that this position is onsite at the company's office in Maadi Degla, and applicants must have good knowledge of backend system architecture, using Python as well as the Django framework.
Please note, students will not be accepted. Interns' military service should be completed or exempt. At the end of the internship, interns will be considered for full-time employment.
Work Location: Maadi, Cairo
Employment Type: Internship
Working hours: 9 AM to 5 PM
Work Days: Sunday - Thursday
Stipend: 3-4k per month
What you’ll be doing…
During the three-month internship, you will build complete websites and products using Python and Javascript. You will be working on building powerful scrapers, databases, and APIs, as well as robust backend systems to display data. You will collaborate with project managers and front-end developers to ensure successful integration and work on optimizing application load times to finish projects.

Internship Requirements
- Must know some framework of Javascript (preferably Node.js)
- Good knowledge of Python and its frameworks is required (preferably Django)
- Knowledge of backend system architecture and relevant programming concepts (Object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, database management and optimization, API development, server-side programming, testing, and scalability and maintenance)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science preferred
- Must be a problem solver, fast learner, & able to research solutions
- Team player with a commitment to quality
