Internship Description
Freightdog is a dutch company which revolutionizes logistics software by automating data entry, pre-filling approximately 80% of fields, and saving employees up to 50% of their time.
We are looking for an intern with a little coding experience to help us build and enhance our the frontend of AI-powered inbox processing system.
Our system automatically parses incoming documents, classifies them, extracts key information into a structured database, and provides users with summaries, identifies potential errors, and suggests actionable insights.

Internship Requirements
Your daily tasks will include
- Collaborating with the team to implement new features and enhancements across our frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Engaging in a variety of software development tasks, including debugging, designing, and contributing to architectural development.
We expect you to
Have some experience with frontend development, particularly in TypeScript & React.
Write testable code with robust test coverage (we primarily use Jest).
Show a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
Possess good written and adequate spoken English skills.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about
- Outlook add-ins and gain deeper insights into how email systems work.
- Python, LLMs, and asynchronous task queues, which are integral to our backend.
- GraphQL, as we use it as the foundation for our APIs.
- Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
