Internship Description
In SlickBlox we are developing the next cutting edge Internet of Things (IoT) solution that will enrich our customer's' life and create a new horizon of automation and business related applications. We invite you to be part of our world class team and share us the fun and proud work.
Your role in this internship will include designing and building IoT solutions, working directly with our senior designers and solution architect to address hardware and software problems. If you are up to the challenge then apply.
As an intern you will assist the Engineers to
- Design and develop the core systems and web services that run our IoT solution
- Deploy and monitor our infrastructure to a cloud provider (like AWS or Azure).
- Design and develop databases and storage models to keep the system’s data secure and available 24/7.
- Create test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of the systems
Internship Requirements
- Solid understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
- Solid understanding of data Structures and algorithms
- Understanding of DB engines, DB design and performance, NoSQL is a plus.
- Familiar with unit testing and TDD
- Familiar with version control tools
- Experience in one or more of following technologies
- C/C++,
- Java HTML, JavaScript
- Node.Js, Ruby, Python, REST APIs
- Linux and shell scripting
- IT Security concepts, authentication techniques
