This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at EL AZZAB GROUP in Egypt. The Accountant will be responsible for financial record-keeping, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations and financial transactions.
Accurately record all financial entries into the company’s accounting system in a timely manner.
Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensure ledger balances are accurate.
Verify that all invoices and related documents comply with tax regulations and company policies.
Prepare periodic financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual summaries.
Conduct regular reviews of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date financial databases, ensuring data accuracy and immediate accessibility when required.
Prepare monthly VAT returns and ensure timely submission to the relevant authorities.
Manage and monitor all bank transactions, including incoming receipts, outgoing payments, and bank reconciliations.
Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to aid decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other external parties when required.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and statutory requirements.
Perform additional financial and administrative duties as assigned by management.
