Job Description
- Procure materials and ensuring they meet quality standards, cost-effective and from reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve optimal procurement costs.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain appropriate balancing supply and demand effectively.
- Plan transportation and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents to streamline import and minimizing delays.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies for resolution.
- Utilize inventory data analysis techniques to forecast demand accurately, adjusting procurement plans accordingly to meet customer needs.
- Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and ensuring reliable supply chain performance.
- Address any supplier performance issues promptly, implement corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement initiatives and cost-saving strategies, driving efficiency throughout the supply chain.
- Engage with sales and production teams to understand demand patterns and develop demand plans based on market trends and customer requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and fill rates to assess supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Foreign trade, Business administration, … etc)
- 3 to 6 years of proven experience in supply chain management
- Excellent English language
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
