Job Description
Design review and validation for all Mechanical sub-disciplines
• Reviewing project documents (design drawings, BOQ, specifications, etc.)
• Building 3D REVIT models with different LOD Standards
• Preparing RFI (Request for information) regarding any issue in the design, BOQ, and Project specs
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on the shop drawings, QS, and as-built drawings
• Compile Mechanical calculations related to HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing.
• Prepare progress reports
• Ensure the implementation of the scope of work of different projects or different teams
• Ensure that technical engineers follow the right strategy to achieve the scope of work
• Coordinate with project teams to exchange data and information
• Cooperate with the managers to develop the internal system and upgrade the team's knowledge
• Lead and set methodology that achieves the desired quality at the right time
• Ensure that each project's technical data is delivered as required on time
• Support the development of new features and system requirements
• Coordinate & follow up with the technical office of each project
Job Requirements
5-7 years of experience in the mechanical construction field and shop drawing preparation.
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Proven experience in team leadership.
• Follow up, coordinate, & discuss with the consultant all technical issues till getting approval.
• Excellent AutoCAD 2D knowledge.
• Excellent Autodesk Revit & Navisworks knowledge.
• Mechanical Revit family creation is a must.
• Good knowledge of HAP & Elite Fire.
• Dynamo Knowledge is a plus.
• Good Microsoft Office Knowledge.
• Excellent communication & leadership skills.
• Ability to work in teams and coordinate projects.
• Time management skills and a great ability to meet deadlines.
• energetic & very organized.
