Job Description
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules and applications to meet specific business needs.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Odoo modules, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Integrate Odoo with other systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
- Perform database design and optimization, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Customize and enhance the Odoo user interface using XML and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with the testing team to develop and execute test plans and ensure the quality of the delivered solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases, features, and best practices to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Odoo developer, with at least 3 years of experience in customizing and developing Odoo modules.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and experience with the Odoo framework.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database and SQL query optimization.
- Knowledge of web services, APIs, and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
