IT Security Operations Senior Engineer

JOB PURPOSE : Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.They undertake operational activities including contributing in the development of ZATCA IT security operation guidelines and standards. Operate ZATCA IT security solutions, systems, infrastructure, and devices. Participate in handling IT security incidents and escalated tickets within the agreed SLAs. Perform IT security vulnerability scans and tests, analyse outputs and report results to all stakeholders. Monitor IT security performance metrics against set of KPIs to generate periodical reports to all stakeholders. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Conduct analysis and research on IT security operation, consolidate all necessary operational data, identify operational gaps, and accordingly manage ZATCA IT Security Operations including maintenance and administration of security solutions, systems and devices Gather all necessary information of IT security incidents and vulnerability scans to feed the development of IT security risk mitigation plan, and provide set of appropriate actions to be taken in order to eliminate or mitigate IT security risks Receive IT security incidents and escalated tickets, diagnose them according to their priorities, and provide the proper effective resolution within the agreed SLAs Receive change requests related to IT security, evaluate their associated impacts on the IT environment and implement the change requests accordingly to meet business needs Perform IT security vulnerability scans and penetration tests, and provide preventive and improvement actions to be taken Collect the actual performance of IT security against set of KPIs, and provide periodical reports with challenges and needed corrective actions ensuring proper communication to all stakeholders Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly Perform other duties as requested JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
