DescriptionAccelerated Leadership Development Senior ManagerRole DescriptionThe accelerated leadership development senior manager is a mid-level position in the Talent Management and Capability Building function in ACWA Power and responsible for the strategic planning, development, execution, and valuation of mid level leadership program aimed at fast tracking the growth and potential of emerging leaders within ACWA Power. The role involves designing a comprehensive curriculum, engaging with high potential participants, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive leadership excellence and organizational success.EducationBachelor’s Degree in education, organizational development, psychology, human resources, or another related field required.Proven track record of program managementTraining And Experienceaccelerated leadership development senior manager must have a minimum of 10 years of experience with a minimum of 8 years in program management and remaining in a related role, such as a human resources manager or in any technical role.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to effectively direct, plan, implement and evaluate programs in a multi-cultural organizational environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people and provide direction.Knowledgeable of research about and best practices in leadership development, adult learning theory, professional development, and facilitation of work groups.Ability to communicate effectively with employees with diverse cultural and functional backgrounds.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a diverse workplace through ideas and experience.Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work. Ability to be flexible and adapt as needed between in-person work environments.Essential DutiesDesigns and coordinates delivery of leadership professional development to ensure current and aspiring high talent employees have the knowledge and skills to be successful in their jobs and prepared for career pathways. Provides professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.Understand the selection criteria for each accelerated leadership program and oversees the selection process for the participants (i.e. function specific, EMO/PGM). Monitors the quality of leadership development program by collecting, analysing, and responding to data to ensure expectations of the program are being met. Collaborates and maintain effective and consistent communication with various stakeholders to ensure all requirements are integrated in the learning to provide meaningful experiences.Provides input and support to division leadership regarding prioritization of professional development needs, evaluation of professional development for all levels of leaders.Provides ongoing guidance, coaching, and support to participants throughout the program's duration.Conducts presentations and training when required.Supports in the development and implementation of creative and innovative development strategies and techniques to build a enable AP to groom leaders instead of sourcing them.Establishes metrics to measure the effectiveness of the program and work closely with the operations team to gather feedback from participants and assess the impact of leadership development initiatives on organizational performance.Coordinates program logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, materials preparation, and technology setup.Facilitates program sessions, workshops, and activities to ensure a seamless and impactful learning experience.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no direct reports. The new joiner will be reporting directly to the Director of Leadership Program in the Talent Management and Capability building in the People and Culture Enabling function.Additional Required Skills/AbilitiesSuperior verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent interpersonal, counselling, and negotiation skills.Familiarity with relevant technology tools for program delivery and assessmentStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
