Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for procurement across categories for the city operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their requirement and recommend right sourcing strategy
- Develop understanding of the vendor market, identify suitable vendors
- Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors.
- Ongoing basis contribute towards Procurement process improvisation
- Lead the discussion on contractual terms and finalization of various agreements related to the categories
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and quality of products to ensure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the purchasing team.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Have strong experience in managing stakeholders and understanding of the strategic sourcing process
- Hands on experience in working with MS excel.
- Process oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, able to perform role with minimal supervision
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Analytical Inclination, able to analyze data and conduct independent analysis and outcome
