About the Company
You'll be working for Mindsalike, the first and leading entrepreneur and investor networking event in Egypt and the Middle East. We connect entrepreneurs, investors, c-level executives and professionals in Cairo, Alexandria and Dubai. We are building a great team to manage events, sponsorship and partnerships.
About the Role
We’re looking for a sponsorship executive who will work with our clients to grow our list of sponsors in the ecosystem. You'll be working directly with our founder, Mahamad El Tanahy, our events team and our existing and previous sponsors including companies like Sawari Ventures, Savills, Chivas, EgyBev, SODIC and more.
Job Responsibilities
- Bring on new sponsors to events we are hosting in Cairo and other cities
- Implement our sponsorship strategy
- Leverage our network of entrepreneurs and investors to identify new sponsorship leads
- Contact sponsors, to identify potential sales or collaboration opportunities
- Manage accounts with existing sponsors and understand opportunities to expand our relationships
- Manage the sales cycle with sponsors including contracts, paperwork and invoicing
Job Requirements
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Very responsive and able to work with clear targets and deadlines
- Experience in a sales or account management role is a major plus
- Experience with partnerships or sponsorships in events is a major plus
- Able to build a good rapport with new and existing clients
- Already plugged into the startup / investor ecosystem is a plus
- Owns a car as will be required to do meetings regularly at client's offices
- Bachelors degree
