- Appreciation of B/OSS design & solution architecture concepts and expert level understating of B/OSS implementations for telco industry.
- Review contributing systems architecture & integration designs to ensure that it is in-line with the Proposed Solution state.
- Well versed with the COTS telco applications like SIEBEL, Webmethods, Comptel OM and NC’s RBM, Oracle Order Management.
- Effectively Challenge and Negotiate with SMEs on Solution design/architecture and to establish a consensus on the final approach.
- Propose, review and validate E2E Architecture and functional flows
- Ensure solution scalability for delivered interfaces and services Engage with application technical teams to clarify technical design and implementation approach Single point of contact & SME for all BSS transformation implementation related matters.
- Work with BSS Transformation Program & project managers to ensure that technical risks, issues and design related matters are resolved appropriately and in timely manner.
Job Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 8 - 10 Year
- Skills: Technical direction, Telco industry, Legacy systems, Solution architecture, Data migration.
- Should be able to provide in-depth technical direction and lead cross functional teams across Overall B/OSS Architecture/ App design, Configuration, Data Cleansing, Data Migration and Integration.
- 8+ years in IT with at least 6 years with B/OSS telecom implementations.
- Proven experience in large scale B/OSS telco implementations, upgrade and data migration from legacy systems.
- Having experience of Solution architecture and design for at least 5 large-scale, full-life cycle telco Projects covering GSM, wire line and data services.
- Ability to understand AS IS, create Transition and End state (To be) Architecture by elaborating the Evolution stages from AS IS to To Be Architecture state.
- Skills to identify and fill Gaps in Transition and To Be Architecture.
- Ability to connect the dots on the basis of available information and identify gaps in the overall Technical/Functional Architecture.
- Familiar with systems Process definition and design, Requirements mapping, and gap analysis.
- Strong knowledge of business processes and ability to translate into a consistent and effective solution design across various domains/applications.
- Strong verbal/presentation/technical writing skills.
- Awareness of eTOM & TOGAF frameworks Project management and leadership experience Propose appropriate technical solution to fulfill business requirements based on established enterprise architecture.
