A warehouse specialist has to prepare the client order, package it, and then compile regular reports and statistics.
These have to be produced on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
This position requires the ability to retrieve and classify any information regarding the stored goods, as well as efficiently organizing them and preparing distribution lists.
With the help of the daily inventory, it is necessary to analyze the merchandise and collaborate with the shipping companies.
Another responsibility refers to the supervision of all the dispatched and received materials and report any surplus or missing item from the inventory.
All the materials have to be labeled and packed properly and the specialist has to regularly examine the stored merchandise, making sure it is in accordance with the standard of quality imposed by the warehousing norms.
He/she must ensure that all the goods are delivered to the specified destinations according to the schedule and regularly conduct audits and evaluations.
All the warehouse staff is under the supervision of the warehouse specialist, who is required to brief his team leaders on a daily basis.
The person occupying this position must keep the standards of safety and health in the work environment high.
