Job Description

The following are the major work details for the HMIS Project Manager “HPM”:
  • Act as a focal point and coordinated between the HMIS vendor and Dar Al-Fouad (DAF).
  • Responsible for developing and managing changes to the project management plan (PM Plan) with the vendor and DAF stake holders.
  • Manage Project resources
  • Manage and control project scope baseline.
  • Manager and control project Risk management plan and ensure proper response for qualified risks
  • Manage Project Communication plan and ensure effective communication among project stake holders.
  • Ensure controlled deliverables according to the PM Plan and applicable baselines.
  • Ensure efficient delivery and satisfactory acceptance to projects scope
  • Liaison communication among all related stake holders.
  • Develop project reports as planned or requested.
  • Ensure high quality for project deliverables
  • Manage project vendors and sub-contractor.
  • Manage project issues
  • Perform any project related activities as planned or requested by the IT Manager.
  • Manage and control all project documents and deliverables

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree in a reputable university, preferred in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant specialty

Experience:
  • Minimum(15) years of working experience with at least (5) years as project manager in Information Systems industry.
  • Preferred holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong Experience in Systems & Business Analysis methodologies and Information Management development lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing project in Health IS sector is plus.
  • Experience in managing project team.

Skills:
  • Very Good English language
  • Excellent Communication with pears, project team, and upper management as necessary.
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • Ability to manage teams in working environment and meetings
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Fluent in writing reports
  • Experience in using Project Management tools such as MS Project / Primavera.
  • Ability to coach team and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Excellent in using office information systems such as Word, Excel, Power point ..etc.
  • Be able to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
  • Posse excellent writing skills (English/Arabic)
