Job Description
- Provide technical support for hardware and software systems used throughout the manufacturing facility, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Assist employees with IT-related problems, including computer setup, software installations, and login issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Keep track of IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses, and make recommendations for procurement as needed.
- Maintain documentation related to IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, knowledge of Windows and other operating systems, familiarity with network protocols, and basic understanding of cybersecurity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve IT issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Cairo residence is preferred.
