Job Description Develop, implement, and oversee sustainability policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with international best practices and local regulations. Conduct sustainability assessments and audits across project portfolios, including energy, water, waste, and carbon footprint analyses. Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to embed sustainable solutions, materials, and technologies throughout project lifecycles. Lead efforts to achieve green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, or Estidama. Monitor and report on sustainability performance, preparing detailed reports for clients and regulatory bodies. Engage with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to promote sustainable practices. Stay updated with emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and technologies relevant to the region. Support training and awareness programs to enhance sustainability knowledge across project teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred. 8+ years of relevant experience in sustainability within infrastructure, construction, or urban development projects. Proven expertise in green building standards and sustainability assessment tools. Strong knowledge of local environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks in the Middle East. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence project decision-making.
