Supply chain Planning & Logistics Manager Full Time

• Job Details:•Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: Planning, transport, warehousing and distribution. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base 1.Serves as liaison between business partners (Purchasing, Production and Sales) to achieve the predetermined planning required. 2.Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost. 3.Manage, Develop, implement and maintain proper order flow quantities to support sales, inventory, and profitability. This includes the continuous evaluation, review and optimization of inventory turns and inventory levels. 4.Integrate business related activities for various functions (Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning “MRP” and Materials Handling) in order to achieve the predetermined target. 5.Providing accurate routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. 6.Obtaining quotes for transportation and also making cost comparisons. 7.Managing bottlenecks and any other constraints, aiming not to exceed defect rates or scrap/ yield factors (Managing WIP). 8.Managing procedures for updating database components in ERP and other Planning systems.
