• Job Details:• Regions Bank pavements and ADA projects: involved in managing and coordination multiple pavement and ADA repairs projects. Work included pavement and ADA site survey, PCI calculation, recommending appropriate maintenance and rehabilitation techniques (M&R), design and generating construction plans (flexible and rigid pavements), preparing budget estimate, bid files and specs, attending and coordinating pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, supervising construction activities and providing compliance reports and providing projects cost control. • FedEx and UPS distribution centers, Costco Wholesale and Love’s Travel Center pavements: involved in the survey and evaluation of the existing pavements at these multiple facilities, managed and coordinated the technician work on the ground, prepared and performed PCI calculation, established and recommended appropriate M&R techniques, prepared budget estimates, bid files, specs and design plans. • Franklin County road: Back Calculation of loads supported by pavements on rural county roads by performing a mechanistic analysis of the pavement structure, coordinating the site survey work and the performance of the destructive testing and providing projects cost control. • John C Tune airport: Coordinating and Managing quality assurance activities (QA) for John C Tune airport runaway, taxiway and aprons repairs. Work included scheduling for various activities occurring on different phases of the projects, training and reviewing reports and insuring work is compliant to specs and is on schedule and providing projects cost control. • Williamson County School district: Involved in the pavement evaluation and survey of the existing schools at Williamson County. The work also included PCI calculation, recommending a 5 year M&R plan, and providing annual cost estimation for each recommended activity and providing projects cost control. • Other Various projects: o Pavements Condition Survey (Following ASTM distress manuals) o Development of M&R strategies. o Flexible and Rigid Pavement design according to AASHTO 93. o ADA Survey (Following 2010 ADA Standards or most recent). o Design of outside ADA components (Parking stalls, path of travel etc…) Following 2010 ADA Standards or most recent. o Monitored the execution of plans on site. o Performed and directed the laboratory accreditation (AMRL) for the Pavement / Materials laboratory. o Performed and directed the calibration of different testing equipment o Performed various Geotechnical services (soil testing, bearing capacity verification, infiltration testing …..). o Performed various asphalt and concrete testing (density test using nuclear gauge, slump test, air content…) o Directing training of different level employees on the practices in the pavement Industry. o Asphalt Mix design reviews (Marshall Mix Design, Superpave Mix Design and Hveem Mix Design)
