• Job Details:Essential Tasks: ▪ Plan, Organize, schedule and coordinate Performing Arts Center facility operations, events and performances, the use of technical and non-technical equipment, and design appropriate lighting, sound and stage equipment. ▪ Remain active in national art circles. Serve as the main contact with booking agents. Assure robust year-round programming for the numerous spaces in the facility. ▪ Work with the Director on the scheduling of events and activities. ▪ Encourage aggressive and cost effective marketing and communication programs that maximize revenues and public support. ▪ Assist with the coordination of productions with internal/external event representatives in order to prepare for facilities requirements; Inspect and perform equipment and system maintenance and refurbishing as needed. ▪ Prepare Performing Arts Center for performances, setting and focusing lights, setting up the sound system; program lighting computer to ensure proper timing of lights. ▪ Communicate with hotel staff to coordinate productions, work with performers and performance groups, and other issues related to the performing arts center operations. ▪ Research, recommend and order new equipment, instruments and other purchases for the performing arts center in cooperation with the director. ▪ Schedule and coordinate with partners on participation in selected events. ▪ Responsible for the sale of tickets coordination. ▪ Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe and efficient manner and with minimal supervision. ▪ Coordinate, support, and mentor staff and volunteers.
