- Job Details:I worked in a GEF/UNDP project titled " the Strengthening Protected Area Financing and Management System Project (EPASP)"in cooperation with central department of protected areas under the National conservation sector (NCS), Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) , Ministry of Environment.with the following responsibilities: Representing the project during the meetings with the minster of environment, governors and with the companies. Following up the project activities and preparing monthly progress report for the minster. Following up the project activities and preparing quarter report for the EEAA. Following up the project activities and preparing media report for the minister’s media consultant. Provide support in preparing the project yearly work plan and the steering committee presentation. Assist in budget revisions during tracing the implementation of the project activities. Organizing the important environmental events inside and outside the targeted PAs. Leading the organization team for the opening ceremony for the developed PAs. Responsible for coordinating the ministerial visits for the developed protected areas. Prepare some terms of reference for the needed consultant and tracking their financial transactions upon delivering their tasks according to the terms of payments. Prepare the travel plans (date, duration) for the project staff missions (following up, meetings, workshops) and Review the air tickets and hotel reservations , request payment of Daily Subsistence Allowances (DSAs) and terminal expenses before manger assigned. Responsible for following up the marketing strategy, awareness material production for EPASP project by Following up the supplier’s delivery time and quality according to the purchase orders or contracts for the awareness campaigns supported by the project, and take the feedback from the targeted segment (PA's employees, visitors). Follow up more than 20 economic and preservation studies provided by outsourcing experts from EPASP project before being delivered to NCS. Prepare the travel plans (date, duration) for the project staff missions (following up, meetings, workshops) and Review the air tickets and hotel reservations, request payment of Daily Subsistence Allowances (DSAs) and terminal expenses before manger assigned.
