Capital Projects & Calibration Lead EngineerFull Time

• Job Details: Facilitate preparation of projects business case, defining project scope, benefits, and objectives to support future investments.  Ensure capital process procedures in compliance with company standards and local legal legislations.  Prepare initial and ongoing estimates of the projects’ costs and hold the overall financial responsibility for supervising the project within the approved funds. This includes regular monitoring for the project invoices & progress against base line and cash flows submitted by contractors and suppliers.  Responsible for the documentation of the Project files and qualification documents from initiation to handover. Also, complete the project ready for hand‐over and initiate the handover certificates upon completion of the projects and transfer the projects to the custodians including partial hand‐over to the projects’ sponsors.  Follow up on projects’ status and arising issues/changes with all relevant parties (customer, finance, procurement and engineering departments).  Use PM tools for effective Information search and on‐going improvement in ways of working and maintaining Quality Management Standards during work.  Ensure EHS corporate standards, local legislation and other Regulatory requirements are included while planning, execution of all projects, with consideration of EHS precautions prior to projects implementation. Also, ensure proper identification and assessment of potential EHS risks that are significant to the business and that can be eliminated or minimized before or during project implementation. Calibration:  Manage Cairo Site calibration activities (on‐site & out‐of‐site), ensuring zero overdue and compliance to GSK standards.  Regularly assess service providers calibration SOPs, tracing methods to standards & authorize the usage of the complying one to GSK SOPs and standards.  Forecast, manage & optimize calibration budget in order to achieve department cost saving goals.  Authorize instruments “devices” addition or removal from the site calibration master plan.  Issue trend analysis, and if needed agree on preventative action with system owner and operational quality in order to prevent future deviations.

• Job Details: Project management, including: ‐ Order registering and financial reporting. ‐ Project planning and scheduling. ‐ Preparing and maintaining the project cost control sheet and procurement plan. ‐ BOM generation, collecting offers, negotiation with suppliers, creating purchase requests and follow the procurement process with the supply chain. ‐ Documentation for each project with case study and learning.  Support function for field service team.  Services and spare parts offering.

• Job Details: Projects technical studies & applications solutions development.  Projects technical and commercial offer preparation.  Project management in co-ordination with the execution team.  In house new and key products trainings.  Participating & leading new products and application development committees.  Preparation and release of application notes from technical and commercial point of view.  Leading executing projects evaluation in co-operation with the internal auditing committee
