• Job Details:*Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) is a measure of how closely official inventory records match the physical inventory. *Responsible for maintaining the cycle count program, conducting location audits, and facilitating physical inventory counts for assigned clients. This position is also responsible for positive and negative inventory adjustments, reporting on submitted inventory discrepancy forms (IDFs), and reconciling lost inventory. *Create reports from the warehouse management system regarding current inventory levels. *Physically count inventory and report the results. *Collect, resolve, and report on IDFs. *Follow-up problems that have not been resolved yet. *Facilitate the location audits and physical inventory counts with client, including coordinating all resources needed, generating count sheets and compiling the final report. *Communicate regularly with the Quality manager, and warehouse manager. *Duties of this job will require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 lbs., working in a warehouse environment. May require standing on concrete floors, walking for the extended periods of time, stooping, bending, twisting, and being exposed to loud noises and various temperatures and scents. *Minimum Qualifications: University degree Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting *Job specific Skills: • Responsible for monitoring inventory account. • Assisting in preparation of the financial statements. • Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances. • Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory. • Verifying accurate standard costs of inventory. • Monitoring inventory transactions. • Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger. • Preparing monthly journal entries as needed. • Monitoring the inventory periodically to maintain the acceptable level. • Managing, storing and labeling inventory so that it easy to recover. • Creating current inventory level reports to relevant department. • Conducting the actual inventory count. • Observing data entry for all inventory transactions for example (shipment, Transfer, adjustment, Returns, invoices match…ext.) • Reviewing all inventory transactions documents. • Creating inventory movement cards.
