• Job Details:Develop rig specific HSE Plans with rig supervisors, and rig management team.  Work closely with rig manager to assist him in daily drilling operations and Maintains drilling journals, logs, and reports as directed.  Assists in preparation of the IADC reports and Tool pusher Weekly Inspection Report.  Monitors the condition and maintenance of the drilling equipment and Support machinery at all times.  Keeps Rig Manager informed of progress on assigned tasks and current conditions and Maintains effective communication with drilling crew and keeps them informed.  Stay in daily contact with the representative(s) of the Operator and ensure that they are correctly informed about all matters concerning the operations related to the rig on contract.  Responsible to help rig personnel troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide support with additional information required.  Interface with supply chain department to ensure correct parts are available and delivered on time; Interface with vendors to ensure standards of QA/QC are met and deliveries are timely.  Participate in operation studies into equipment/process failures and successes and communicate details of the results to field operations for further follow-up/ feedback; Evaluate critical operational processes and identify key areas to improve operational effectiveness.  Participate in conducting incident investigation for any HSE incident on the rig to find out the immediate causes, underlying causes and root causes of the incident; then carry out the immediate corrective actions and/or preventative action plan to prevent the incident from happening again.  Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management; assist Rig Managers & Operations Manager in daily rig operations (engineering, IADC report, logistics, personnel…).
