• Job Details:IT Manager Part : - Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks. - Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment and devices. - Install, Administer Windows 2003, XP, Windows 7, Active Directory, DSL/VPN, Firewalls, DNS, IIS. - Supports administration of servers. - Manages all system back-up and restore protocol. - Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure. - Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems. - Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning. - Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus, anti-spam. - Managing the website and keeping internal networks running; monitoring the use of the web by employees. Operation Manager (Security) Part: - Crime Prevention and Investigation. - Responsible for maintaining a secure environment through ensuring the security of the hotel. - Act as liaison between hotel and tourist police. - Establish and maintain procedures to reduce any internal theft/losses. - Establish and maintain policy for employee locker and housing control. - Ensure that all reports are completed properly and in a timely manner so as to ensure that all matters are duly communicated and all necessary procedures are commenced as soon as required. - Must learn to personally conduct door lock readings, CCTV surveillance equipment… etc, in order to handle sensitive investigations. - Control of departmental keys in order to ensure that only the assigned/authorized personnel have access to critical areas/operations. - Maintain control of master key inventories and ensure the proper whereabouts/existence of all master keys - Control access to critical areas where the need for access arises outside of normal operating hours for that area. - Contribute to ensuring all staff adheres to all hotel policies/procedures. - Assist the Chief Engineer in establishing and maintaining procedures to ensure that specific actions will take place in the event of an emergency. - Ensure that all staff is properly trained in emergency procedures and maintain an ongoing training/retraining program in order to ensure that all staff is familiar with procedures at all times. - Conduct regular and irregular inspections of the hotel property and staff housing in order to ensure that the safety of the guests, staff, and hotel are not being compromised by potentially dangerous situations. - Through regular reviews, ensure that programs/procedures are in place in order to control most expected circumstances in the event of an emergency situation. - Maintain responsibility for payroll and scheduling of department staff. - Ensure that all necessary time sheets and documents are completed. - Review daily activities of security officers on all shifts. - Ensure all security staff is properly trained. - Maintain control of Lost and Found valuables. - Ensure that all items are properly returned to guests upon inquiries and verification's being made. - Establish and maintain effective means of communication and working rapport with staff/management of other departments.
