• Job Details:During the course of world cup 2014 preparation, I worked for beIN SPORTS to create a new unit called "Technical pay TV support" under Encryption section under Operation department, and also, to enhance, develop and release the most crisis, volatil, uncertin, complex, ambiguous and critical "pay TV" system that manages billions of dollars in beIN SPORTS. I was a key member in the team who has the ability to understand business needs and conceptualize technical solutions. Where I was able to integrate CISCO-NDS CAS, MIGS2 e-payment and SSO. Moreover, OTT, IVR, ODC complex web hosting, MSSQL always on, indexing, performance metrics, security gab analysis, IIS8 administration and X-forwarding. I Worked directly with executives like Media director, operations director, IT manager, Encryption manager and business development manager. In addition, I worked directly with other key stakeholders like CISCO, NDS, CoralTree, Microsoft, QNB, MiGs, QMobile, ooredoo, Humax, Technicolor and Pace. I attended outdoor and indoor meetings to discuss solutions, integration, alternatives and workarounds. I coached the established team with some lean/agile methods and let them play multiple roles in the project. I reviewed every line of code curiously and coordinated them to the best architecture and design patterns needed in the system. beIN's target was to receive 100,000 subscribers in the first day of world cup champion. Pleasantly, the system has already received 170,000 subscribers in the first day with a very high availability and very quick response. The system has been continuing to receive subscribers and by October 2014, their count has reached more than 1.7 million subscribers.
