• Job Details:1- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. 2- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk either in person or over the phone. 3- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority. 4- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation. 5- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software. 6- Document internal procedures. 7- Assist with onboarding of new users. 8- Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment. 9- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. 10- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software. 11- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses. 12- Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation. 13- Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software. 14- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory. 15- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
