ELV Project Engineer

• Job Details:Plan, design, and oversee installation of ELV systems including fire alarms, WLD, rodent repellent, CCTV, access control, and public address systems. Review project drawings, technical specifications, and ensure implementation aligns with client and safety standards. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure timely execution of project milestones. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems; prepare detailed reports and documentation. Provide technical support during installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems. Prepare material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements for client and consultant approvals. Manage procurement, ensure materials and tools are available as per project schedule. Monitor and report project progress, cost control, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Report progress to senior management and address any delays or obstacles. Make adjustments to the schedule if necessary and ensure project milestones are achieved on time.

Install fire alarm systems, including panels, wiring, detectors, and alarm devices. Track the daily progress of the work, ensuring that activities are completed as per the established schedule. Report progress to senior management and address any delays or obstacles. Prepare all necessary documentation related to the commissioning process, including method statements, inspection test plans, and equipment manuals. Maintain a thorough record of system configurations, test results, and any modifications made during installation and commissioning. Troubleshoot and fix any problems during testing. Prepare final system documentation like as-built drawings and user manuals. Provide technical assistance to clients for troubleshooting and usage. Train building staff or occupants on fire alarm operation. Maintain inspection reports and system logs. Address any issues or changes in the scope of work and ensure these are documented and approved before implementation.
