• Job Details:Currently leading Urbanist International Consulting, an international consulting and in charge of strategy, planning and urban design/development. Lead role for large, complex, strategic urban design projects and liaise directly with external clients via face to face, phone and/or email on a daily basis. Responsible for design development, day-to-day managing and coordinating stakeholders, community consultation, perform feasibility studies and reports in the US and abroad (Portugal and Latin America).

Senior Urban Planner, Project ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Daily client liaison, project coordination and planning team leader of multi-disciplinary consultant team on various innovative master planning projects across the US. Coordinated community and stake holders’ presentations, Charrettes, presented plans through public approval process until integration into local Comprehensive Plans. Lead and coordinated a team of analysts, graphic and in-house public relations. Wrote project reports and oversaw presentations. Involved in the planning design process, physical surveying and assembling presentations for the numerous community outreach meetings and ensuring public comments from those meetings found their way into final project documents. In my role as the designated client contact I was responsible for demonstrating to my satisfaction that all contract specifics were being met as and when described in the scope of work.

Senior Land Planner, Practice Buildern Project ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Assumed position as a Practice Builder and Project Manager re-locating to Southeastern Virginia region to open-up and direct the creation of the company’s urban planning division. Hired staff and generally did marketing outreach, networking and client relations. Coordinated initial design and team for large and medium-size master planning projects in seven cities in the southeast region. Invited to participate as a lecturer in Real Estate and Development at the University of Virginia.
