• Job Details:Engaged in the preparation of bills of quantities and tender documents, the evaluation of contractor pricing and the preparation of estimates, BOQs on many KEO’s projects in a wide range of work in Qatar from the Wafra Stadium, Salwa Beach Hotel, the New Doha Zoo and the Kuwait university, Burj Al Shaya and Gulf university Project in Kuwait. Duties include value engineering exercises, preparation of rate buildups and cost analysis.

• Job Details:Engaged as a project quantity surveyor on the Wadi Adai Interchange project which involved the construction of bridges, flyovers, reinforced concrete walls, PUPs, utility buildings and landscaping. Responsibilities included handling interim payment applications, variations and extra scopes as well as the preparation of cost reports and estimated budget/final account for the project. Apart from that responsibility was taken for contract administration of the project which included liaising with relevant departments, negotiating with client and contractor over contractual issues, presenting the estimated project budget to the client and advising him over excess or possible cost overrun and contractual letter writing.

• Job Details:Involved in preparation of interim payment applications, other payment certificates, handling variations, pricing and preparation of tender documentation including construction schedules, construction methodologies, environmental action plans, safety plans and other tender related documents. Other than that, involved in commercial and contractual audit survey to assets real situations of the project budget and as well analyzing of contract related issues, writing contractual letters and negotiations with relevant authorities to get the payment approved. Projects included highways, roads, major and minor bridges, power plants and port works – mainly breakwaters, gabions and revetments.
