• Job Details:• Develop and update infection control policies and procedures and work instructions throughout the hospital. • Following up daily rounds for auditing infection control practices throughout the hospital. • Conduct effective surveillance systems with timely feedback to clinical services and generation of monthly statistical reports. • Isolate the patients according to Mode of infection. • Document the isolation form in the patient's file and ensure that the assigned nurse/ treated physician signed on the form. • Conduct investigations of outbreaks • Participation in the antimicrobial stewardship program. • Preparing and modifying the IPC Committee. • Creation and implementation the KPIs of Infection control department. • Implementation of JCIStandards, JCI CCPCs (Stroke-AMI- COPD), ISO 14001-9001 and HCCAP system. • CAP (Collage of American Pathologist) registration and preparing ASSIH Lab for the CAP Accreditation. Starting from the compatibility of infrastructure and layout of ASSIH Lab, develop polices, forms and KPIs to be used in implementation of CAP Standards, follow up and report the CAP Standards Status and updates, develop training material for Lab team orientation to ensure their competencies, tracing and Auditing Lab Staff practices to ensure compliance with CAP Standards
