Planning , scheduling and executing the routine maintenance work for all the electrical equipments inside the plant including • Three generator units type TLRI 86/29 10.5kV • Power transformers inside the plant a. Three 10.5/33 kV transformers type Siemens 80MVA b. Three 10.5/6.6 kV transformers type Siemens 5MVA with OLTC c. Two 33/66kV transformers type Alstom 70MVA with OLTC d. Two 33/11kV transformers type Alstom 7MVA e. Eleven dry type transformers 6.6kV / 400 V and 33 kV / 400 V • Protection devices Siemens , AREVA and Basler • Supervising and planning routine maintenance work for over head transmission lines • Circuit breakers for the 33kV and 6.6 kV switchgears • The auxiliary systems including • Air conditioning units • Low voltage panels and motors 2. Preparing and reviewing all the electrical procedures for the various electrical jobs. 3. Performing all the routine and fault repairing tasks by hand. 4. Managing and controlling the spare parts for various systems. This task includes the stock level management to ensure safe and reliable performance of all electrical systems 5. Participated in two major overhaul inspections on two different gas turbine generators, including the preparation of the required tools and spare parts. 6. Participated in six minor overhaul inspection outages 7. Participated in overhaul maintenance for all On Load Tap Changers under supervision of MR specialist 8. Preparing all the technical reports and faults analysis concerning the faults or events that occur inside the power plant or those that are relate to the O.H.T.L circuits 9. Attending external meeting regarding analysis of external faults related to OHTL circuits. 10. Participated with SIEMENS PTD Germany in preparing a general Study to Improve the Protection scheme behavior regarding MidElec/ Midor network. The study resulted in the implementation of a new decoupling device at National Grid feeder inside Midor, where I took part in the implementation work.
