• Job Details: 1- Act as the account officers with the same duties and responsibilities for non-cash products (except card applications, loan applications, and opening accounts). 2- Accept and process cash deposits to opened accounts (current, saving, checking, overdraft, GL). Prove cash entirely. 3- Cash checks and payment orders within established limits and reserves (withdrawals, coupons, expense redemption). 4- Exchange foreign currencies to the established dealer rates. Prove currencies entirely. 5- Redeem CD coupons. Redeem matured certificates of deposits. 6- Handle customer inquiries and signature verification for branch personnel. Career objective Personal information Work Experience 7- Provide additional banking services, develop opportunities, and guide customers to the appropriate contact in the branch. 8- Count, prove, and pack currency and coins. 9- Use the computer terminal to process transactions and verify customer signatures. 10- Balance cash and prepare daily and final currency position. 11- Perform a range of related duties and may assist other tellers during peak load periods. 12- Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents. 13-Inform customers about foreign currency regulations, and compute transaction fees for currency exchanges. 14-Explain, promote, or sell products or services such as travelers' checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks, using computerized information about customers to tailor recommendation 15- Order a supply of cash to meet daily needs 16-ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures 17-In-depth knowledge of maintaining positive customer relations by means of proper handling of all transactions, in keeping with established procedures 18- Hands-on experience in exercising discretion, judgment, and proposal about transaction problems and inquiries 19- Able to give accurate and detailed information to bank clients 20- Profound ability to recognize customers’ financial services requirements and cross-selling services to meet those requirements 21- Used counting machines and other equipment to maintain an accurate record of the currencies deposited and shipped to other bank branches; forwarded this information to the manager.
