• Job Details:• Exercise managerial and supervisory control over all logistics support while fullling the UNAMID mandate. • Develops, prepares, coordinates and monitors overall logistic support plans including logistics forecasting, supply schedules, priorities or requirements, and resolution of urgent operational needs. • Daily report to MSC chief on logistics situation in the West sector to ensure that they are at all times adequate to meet the requirements of the logistics strategy. • Conduct periodic inspections in the west of Darfur UNAMID units to monitor the current logistics situation and to ensure that assigned logistics employees to fulll their duties and support when needed. • Attend daily meeting with mission management to report the current logistics progress and receive any updates regarding logistics needs. • Manages and supervises an integrated civilian-military mission support organization in the West sector. • Manages and coordinates a multifunctional logistics operation within the area of responsibility.
